8th Annual JBF Blue Carpet Celebrity Weekend//June 21-23rd, 2013; Minneapolis, MN
Save the date for Our 8th Annual JBF Blue Carpet Celebrity Weekend! This multi-day experience consists of a variety of exclusive events that will allow guests to interact and engage with the numerous JBF Worldwide supporters and Global Ambassadors including professional athletes, both current and former, celebrities and an array of corporate leaders, diplomats and high-profile business executives from across the globe. **This year we will also be hosting a 5K “Race to End Extreme Poverty” to highlight our various initiatives that focus on improving the lives of individuals living in under-served communities around the world!

2013 Annual ‘One Team 4 Haiti’ Global Ambassadors Trip//May 8th- 12th, 2013; Port-au-Prince, Haiti
JBF Worldwide’s Annual ‘One Team 4 Haiti’ Global Ambassadors Trip was held from May 8-12th in Port-au-Prince. Following the 2010 earthquake, JBF Worldwide partnered with the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Player Associations for the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB and numbers other partners for a large-scale Relief Effort. Once again, we partnered with various organizations including One World Futbol Project, A ganar, IDB, and MMUN in Haiti to continue to provide relief to the people of Haiti.
This year our focus was on long term economic recovery to help rebuild Haiti as well as various sports for development and educational initiatives. Accompanying JBF Worldwide was a delegation of NFL players including Akin Ayodele, Ronnie Cameron and Drayton Florence, numerous government agencies and NPOs, communication agencies and player associations. JBF Worldwide 7th Anniversary Event and MDGAAC Official Launch Event// April 13, 2013 at the United Nations and Eli Klein Fine Art Gallery in Manhattan, NY
The Jack Brewer Foundation’s 7th Anniversary Event and Changing Lives DAY 1 Exclusive Launch Event was held on April 13, 2013 at the United Nations. During the awards ceremony at the United Nations, former and current professional athletes, artists and celebrities were honored with MDG Awards for their work in communities both at home and around the world. The day also included a private United Nations tour and an evening reception celebrating the committee and the work that has been done around the world hosted at the Eli Klein Fine Art Gallery in Soho.

2013 Inter-American Development Bank Annual Meeting//March 14th-17th, 2013; Panama, Panama
In late March or early April of each year, the Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) hold their Annual Meeting in one of the Bank’s member countries. This official gathering is a forum for discussion among the institution’s Governors, most of whom are Ministers of Finance, Presidents of Central Banks, or other high level authorities of the member countries. 2013 Campamento Rolando Cantu (Rolando Cantu’s Kids Camps)// March 1st-3rd, 2013; Mexico
JBF Worldwide will be sending a delegation to Mexico to participate in former NFL player Rolando Cantu’s Campamento Rolando Cantu (Rolando Cantu’s Kids Camps). In conjunction with the IADB, Mr. Cantu and JBF Worldwide Executive Director Jack Brewer will demonstrate how sports and culture serve as a tool for youth development and to highlight their contributions through community service. The goal of this event is to emphasize how sports can help youth to by improving self-esteem, employability and teamwork. 2013 Malawi Economic Development and Empowerment Delegation//February 11th- 19th, 2013; Malawi, Africa
JBF Worldwide’s 2013 Malawi Economic Development and Empowerment Delegation, including Drayton Florence of the Detroit Lions, headed to Malawi, Africa on February 11th in partnership with the One World Futbol Project (OWFP). The delegation attended meetings with the government on many of our JBF global initiatives including sports for development initiatives, youth education and medical relief.
JBF Worldwide has been traveling to Malawi yearly since 2008 and working directly with The Joyce Banda Foundation International to implement various on the ground initiatives with a primary focus on economic development, food security and poverty alleviation. 2013 3rd Annual JBF 1 World China Trip and Super Bowl Viewing Event//January 29th- February 6th, 2013; Beijing and Shanghai, China
On January 29th, JBF Worldwide headed to Beijing and Shanghai, China to host the 3rd Annual JBF 1 World China Trip and Super Bowl Viewing Party with NFL athletes Reggie Bush and Akin Ayodele. JBF Global Ambassadors, NFL China, Kerry Hotels and several supporting partners joined together to host a Super Bowl viewing party. All proceeds directly benefitted the Montessori Model United Nations and will help fund the construction of Montessori schools in China along with training programs for teachers.
Along with the Super Bowl viewing party, the group participated in many other cultural exchange events. JBF Worldwide created the JBF 1 World Initiative to “Promote and facilitate cultures crossing unexpected boundaries to increase understanding, tolerance and acceptance”. The trip is an important tool to promote social change and develop tailored philanthropic and humanitarian programs. The delegation once again focused on building programs using sport as the vehicle for sustainable peace in effort to bridge the gap for diversity and development.
