2. JBF Worldwide “One Team 4 Haiti” Delegation Returns For 4th Annual Haiti Trip

   May 6th, 2013

   Minneapolis, MN, May 7, 2013 -  The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) is pleased to announce their 4th annual JBF Worldwide Global Ambassadors trip to Haiti in support of the “ One Team 4 Haiti” campaign. Created in 2010 following the devastating earthquake, One Team 4 Haiti was spearheaded by JBF Worldwide, the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and Player Associations for the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB as well as other sponsors and supporting partners to bring about a large-scale relief effort in Haiti. This year’s trip will focus on long-term economic recovery and road safety, sports for development, medical relief and educational initiatives with a Global Ambassadors delegation of NFL players and numerous supporting organizations.

3. UN Ambassadors from Benin, Malawi and Panama to Receive MDG Special Recognition Awards from The Jack Brewer Foundation

   New York, NY, April 12, 2013- The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) in collaboration with the Millennium Development Goals Awards (MDG Awards) is proud to recognize The Republic of Benin, The Republic of Malawi and The Republic of Panama on their exceptional progress toward the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Endorsed by the United Nations in 2000, this effort has been the most successful global push to eradicate poverty throughout world history.

4. Founder Jack Brewer Named as one of University of Minnesota’s CEHD ‘rising alumni’

   April 22nd, 2013

   MINNEAPOLIS / ST. PAUL (04/09/2013) — Jack Brewer is one of 23 emerging alumni leaders from the University of Minnesota’s College of Education & Human Development (CEHD) recognized in a new web profile series who have achieved early distinction in their careers, demonstrated outstanding leadership, or shown exceptional volunteer service in their communities.

   After a notable Golden Gopher and NFL football career, Jack Brewer founded The Brewer Group (TBG), a diversified global advisory and banking firm. TBG’s social responsibility arm is The Jack Brewer Foundation, which focuses on the empowerment of women and children living in impoverished and underdeveloped communities through implementing initiatives that enable economic development and food security.

5. JBF Worldwide 7th Anniversary Celebration and MDGAAC Launch Event

   March 27th, 2013

   New York, NY, March 28, 2013- The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) will celebrate its 7th Anniversary with the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Awards Committee and the launch of the MDGAAC with events on Saturday, April 13, 2013.

   Hosted in New York City, a delegation including numerous Global Ambassadors of JBF Worldwide, Goodwill Ambassadors of the MDG Awards Committee and Members of its Athletes and Artists Committee (MDGAAC) will be recognized for their exceptional dedication and ongoing commitment to philanthropic work on a global level.

   This day of events will feature a United Nations (UN) Press Conference and Awards Presentation. During the UN press conference, Mr. Brewer will introduce the newest members of the MDGAAC, who are also Global Ambassadors of JBF Worldwide.

6. JBF Worldwide Visits Panama for Inter-American Development Bank Annual Meeting

   March 14th, 2013

   Minneapolis, MN- March 14, 2013- The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) and The Brewer Group (TBG) and partners will be attending the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Annual Meeting in Panama to focus on economic development and resource expansion. The sessions will focus on subjects like Youth and Social Innovation for Development, Challenges and Benefits of Increasing Women’s Participation in Business Start-Up and Growth, and Civil Society in Public-Private Partnerships: toward sustainable, inclusive development.

14. JBF Worldwide Donates 200 Turkeys in Partnership with Captain Hope’s Kids

15. Chituka Village Project on Schenectady Today

16. JBF Worldwide and Outreach, Inc. Donate Nearly 300,000 Meals to Malawi

    Minneapolis, MN/Union, IA – November 13, 2012 - The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) and Outreach, Inc. have combined forces to aid the estimated 1.7 million citizens of the Republic of Malawi who are at risk of famine in this small southern African nation. This joint effort seeks to extend Outreach, Inc.’s successful nutritious food program to communities in desperate need of humanitarian assistance.

18. Malawi President Joyce Banda Inaugurated as Chancellor of University of Malawi

    President Joyce Banda of Malawi made history today when she was inaugurated as the University of Malawi’s (Unima) first female Chancellor. President Banda then presided over the graduation of 1,654 Unima students. Congratulations to our friend and partner!
