1. JBF Returns to China and Takes 4th Annual Super Bowl Event Global

   JBF Worldwide joins forces with NFL China, Peace and Sport, Brewer Sports International, KERRY SPORTS and Eli Klein Fine Art to participate in various cultural activities including the Official NFL China Super Bowl Party. A delegation of over 20 supporters returns to China for another historical trip emphasizing and honoring the integration of global cultures through sport, fine art and social awareness.

2. Peace and Sport and JBF Join Forces

7. JBF Worldwide Sends Container of Sports Equipment and School Supplies to Malawi

   New York, NY, October 5^th, 2011 – The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) is pleased to announce their latest sports for development project involving a shipment of goods being sent to Malawi, Africa today in a 20-foot container consisting of children’s school supplies and sports equipment. 14. Jack Brewer Delivers Keynote Address at Peace and Sport International Forum 2010

    JBF Worldwide Founder and Executive Director, Jack Brewer served as a keynote speaker at the Peace and Sport International Forum 2010 in The Principality of Monaco, France. Mr. Brewer – who was also recently invited by Peace and Sport Founder and President Joël Bouzou and H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco to serve as Chairman of Peace and Sport USA where he has agreed to expand the Peace and Sport agenda in the U.S. – delivered his keynote address on “How can professional sport contribute to peace?” during Plenary Session 4 to over 500 experts and leading figures from more than 90 countries.

19. JBF at Millennium Development Goals Awards

    On September 19th, 2010 the second annual Millennium Development Goals Awards event was held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) were born out of the 2000 United Nations Development Declaration, which commits nations to reducing extreme poverty by year 2015.

    The MDGs are comprised of eight target areas: End Poverty and Hunger, Universal Education, Gender Equality, Child Health, Maternal Health, Combat HIV/AIDS, Environmental Sustainability, and Global Partnership.  As in the previous awards event, this Millennium Development Goals Awards ceremony will bestow awards in the areas of Government, Lifetime Achievement, and Recognition for Outstanding Youth Leadership.

    

    This year’s theme is “MDGS are the Global Heartbeat.” Guests heard compelling stories about the positive impact already made by the MDGs and the future potential of the MDGs to change lives around the world.  Additionally, this year the Millennium Development Goals Awards Committee is also encouraging the participation of notable athletes, entertainers, and public figures who have furthered the goal of the MDGs in their own lives.

    Those athletes and entertainers who participated in the MDGs awards were also invited to become members of UN MDG Athletes & Artists Committee chaired by Jack Brewer.  As members of the UN MDG Athletes & Artists Committee, the positive work they are already doing will receive affiliation with the United Nations Millennium Development Goals initiative. Ultimately, through this particular committee, we hope to foster greater awareness in places where little is known about the Millennium Development Goals.
