Donate to the Brewer Foundation
The Jack Brewer Foundation is totally operated by its volunteers. JBF has no paid staff or salaried workers and the foundation takes pride in our ability to be resourceful in our operations. Your donations will go directly to help us continue our fund raising efforts and to support the following programs:
Young Leaders Initiative (YLI) - Mentorship program for US High School Juniors and Seniors, to aid in career development and preparation for the diverse work force and University community. Please consider giving a General Donation for supplies, awards and miscellaneous expenses to help with the YLI mentorship program.
JBF Youth Sports Equipment Drive - JBF is partnering with sports programs around the US to collect used sports equipment. Please help us in our efforts by referring programs and donating to help cover shipping costs.
Secondary School Scholarship - Scholarship includes tuition cost, uniforms and meals for the orphan children that are supported by JBF.
International College Scholarships - Includes the following majors: Medical, Business, Public Policy, Agriculture
Careerbuilder.com Job Placement Program - The Jack Brewer Foundation began partnering with Careerbuilder.com in 2007, and now offers job opportunities all over the country directly from the JBF website. For each resume placed on www.thejackbrewerfoundation.org, careerbuilder.com will donate $1 to JBF. The Jack Brewer Foundation is committed to doing its part to promote Career Development and Job Placement across the US.
JBF Microfinance Program - We are in the process of collaborating with Malawi's Foreign Minister Joyce Banda to expand microfinance efforts in her home country of Malawi. Joyce has developed a successful microfinance strategy in collaboration with Nobel Peace Price winner Muhammad Yunus, whose model for Grameen microcredit laid the groundwork for similar success in Bangladesh.
The Malawi microfinance program has seen an astounding 100 percent repayment history since its inception, where the majority of individual loans are for less than $10 US, which provides sufficient resources for an individual spanning an entire season. The program includes a goat drive that gives mothers with HIV clean goat milk to feed their children, credit to fund fertilizer, seed and farm equipment, and also acts as a means to finance the development of markets to disburse their locally harvested produce. Please help JBF as we expand the microfinance program in Malawi and develop similar funds across Africa and Latin America.
